    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

8TPZ 1968 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang AM radio. "Philco" spelled out on the bezel, has 5 black push buttons. This radio may or may not work, probably will have a cut plug. Good for parts or to fill a hole. Many people prefer the original look and to hide their modern sound system. Knobs sold separately.

Are you going to install this unit yourself? The first issue of Legendary Cougar Magazine has a great how to article that will help you in your journey to musical bliss. You can get it here!

This icon means that we're looking to buy this part!

WCCC is a buyer of used and NOS hard to find 67-73 Mercury Cougar parts. Usually we give an in store credit of 50% of our web price for parts delivered in hand or by carrier to our Brooks, Oregon location. If you're not interested in store credit, just shoot us an email and we will let you know if it's is something we can pay cash for. We do not send cash for parts in advance but we often can compensate you within hours of receiving the goods.

Sometimes a 50% wholesale bid will not be enough to entice you to sell. It never hurts to ask if we can up our bid! If it is an in demand item that we have requests for we often can pay more. Just email us if you have questions or want to share pictures.

    Pros:
    • Excellent appearance
    Cons:
This radio looks much better than I expected, and I guess I got lucky 'cos both plugs are there. Knobs, buttons and dial all move freely.
