Reproduction head light stem or knob for any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Technically, this is a replica of the early 1967 knob. We have found that there are 4 distinctly different knobs from 1967-68. They all will interchange, but this is the 1967 common style of chrome knob. Starting in 1968, for DOT regulations, they would have had more rounded edges.
Perfect fit, easy to replace and will be a great upgrade over your original scratched and or pitted knob. To remove, reach behind the dash and locate the small, round spring loaded button on the top side of your headlight switch. Depress the button while firmly grasping the knob and move back and forth until it releases. To install, firmly and quickly press the knob inward (towards the dash) with the palm of your hand.
