Pair of reproduction sub frame connectors, designed to tuck up against the floor pan as tightly as possible to maximize ground clearance. The more performance improvements you do to the vehicle, the more demands are put on the uni-body. Sub frame connectors provide resistance to chassis flex, therefore increasing the integrity and rigidity of the chassis. Installing them will also help reduce rattles and squeaks from the car flexing over rough roads.
They are a must for any performance application and work well in a street, road race, or drag race application. Sub frame connectors are powder-coated black and come with complete instructions.
Tech Tip: One important factor about subframe connectors is that on full uni-body cars, such as Cougars and Mustangs, the subframe connectors must be welded and not bolted. Bolt on subframes do not have enough material surrounding the attachment area capable of resisting constant flex without working loose. The boxed area simply starts to collapse allowing the subframe to work loose.
