Description

Reproduction Carter 4491S smog canister valve with any supplied stamped date. Special order item, allow several weeks for delivery, and it will ship separately. Nice and detailed with correct stamping on the cover with your supplied date. Fits 289 / 302 / 390-4V / 427-4V/ 428CJ in 1968. Fits 428 Cobra Jet and 428 Super Cobra Jet for 1969-70. All 1968 Ford cars and light duty pickups received thermactor smog if they had a manual transmission and / or Holley 4V carburetor. Thermactor smog pumps and related on all Holley 4 barrel cars 1969-70.

* Hint - stamped dates on the canister, generally pre date the cars build date by 2-8 weeks.

As you can see from my ratings of this item, I am very pleased with the product. The date stamp was very appropriate for the build date of my car - I know this was probably luck but I'll take it!!!! Again, thank you for your workmanship and attention to detail!!!
