This is an accurate reproduction of the tie down notice decal that was placed on the rear license plate frame. This was to remind dealers to remove the tie down plates that were used to secure the cars to the transport trains / trucks on their way from the factory to the dealers. Ford wanted to recycle these plates to save money, but dealers often didn't feel it was worth their time to remove the plates. Thus, many cars still have them. Check yours out! ...

Replaces Ford part #C8AZ-6223362-A. Sold in pairs, four required per car, used on most Ford products. We often get calls like "How do I remove my front window cranks?" Unlike the rear cranks that are held on by an Allen set screw, the fronts have a Phillips screw under this decal. If you are careful, often you can reuse your original and glue it back in place.

This decal can be used to overlay your replacement oil filter, so it looks more like a vintage original oil filter. Research indicates that the gold was primarily used on 66 and earlier, as was the red. Set of 5 reproduction firewall inspection decals. During final inspection, these decals where placed in different locations on the firewall / cowl area and one P decal between the weatherstrip and dash pad inside the drivers door jam. Used plastic battery hold down for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. According to the Master Parts Catalog, late 1969 through mid 1970, Cougars and Mustangs used these black plastic units. This clip mounts the actuator shaft to the eyelids. Two required for 1967 - 1968, one required for 1969 - 1970. Same clip holds the windshield wiper motor to the wiper transmission.
