Current offering is dated 10-67 Original distributor vacuum advance control valve, also called a ported vacuum switch (PVS) valve, that was installed on all Ford models including Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, and Torino starting in 1967. Used vacuum hose for the steering column release valve used in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the tilt / tilt away steering column. Regular vacuum hose can be used to replace this hose if you are missing the original. However, it will not be correct. This nice original FoMoCo hose has the correct ribbing, stripes and comes with the firewall grommet. If you are missing this piece and you want your car to be right, this is a must have.

This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This unit is easy to test and can be seen by removing the glove box.
