Inside door handle release mechanism for the passenger side on 1971-72 Cougar and Mustang. This latch mechanism went through a couple of revisions by the end of 1973. Ford calls this part a 'control and link assembly', this particular one only works with the deluxe door handles as shown in the photo. One of the major differences between the reproduction and the original sight glass hoses, is that the texture of the originals was much more defined.  You can see and feel the ridges in the hose on the originals.  Below is a close up picture of repro and used side by side, and it is obvious that the repro is not nearly as textured as the originals...

These are used hose clamps that bolt to the body and lateral A/C bracket. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available may have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. These reproduction convertible panels only come in black and are sold as a pair.
