This shroud was discontinued by Ford in the mid 1990's. It really is no different in appearance from our reproduction but it does weigh a hefty 2.56 pounds and the reproduction weighs 1.76 pounds. Factory stamped D0ZA-3C511-A. There are three versions of this bracket and all are functionally identical. It appears the early version had no part number in 1970, later in the 1970 model year this version appeared with the D0ZA casting number on it and then in 1971 you see the D1ZA casting number. We do not have any at this time . . . Very rare part in great condition. This was pulled from a very original 1970 H code XR7 with power windows, tilt column and AC. Technically not correct for 69 in that the shade of green would be darker in 1969. Why this car did not have the xr7 woodgrain delete plate we are unsure.

This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

Used servo cover from a 1969-71 Ford C-6 transmission. This cover has the big R cast into it, which designates it as an "R" Intermediate Servo Band Cover. Typically, this cover would be found on U code C6's, from 1968-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with Q or R code 428CJ engines. Additionally 1971 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with J or C code 429CJ engines. 1968-71 Ford and Mercury mid sized cars also with 428CJ or 429CJ. Cover only, marked C8OP-7D027-A.
