This is a very rare option for the 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, and Shelby Mustang. It utilizes a center dash AC vent to blow fresh air into the cabin. The heater box is very similar to the standard heater box / plenum but has the vacuum switch and bracket mounted to the top. C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.
