Used hood lip moulding / trim clip for the Mercury Cougar. Ten of these clips (five per side) are required to mount the two aluminum "L" shaped hood lip mouldings to the 1970 hood. These clip are for the purest who places a high value on originality. If originality is not an issue, you can get our inexpensive reproduction clips here and save a little of that hard earned money.

The 69-73 looks the same as the earlier version once installed but the casting number will read C3AA-4906-C on the early unit and C9OA-4906-A on the 1969-73 version. We have found a few rubber bumpers marked D3Z... very few. See other listing for that one..

Since we always claim to have parts nobody else does... This welds to the bottom side of the car just above the differential. When the rear suspension bottoms out, this is the plate the rubber snubber / bumper (mounted on the front on top of the dif.) makes contact with.

#373820-S Copper washer for attaching the 8 inch or 9 inch third members to the axle housings. Steel washers will leak, made from copper which is a soft metal and seals under the attaching nuts. Copper washers like the OEM Ford installed washers. Takes 10 washers total for both 8 and 9 inch rear ends. *Tip - It is a good idea to inspect or replace your old washers, many times they have tool marks from the housing or nuts that cause small troublesome leaks.
