    1970 9 Inch Rear End Housing Complete - Used

    Housing overall width - 54-1/4 inches flange to flange. Spring perches are 43 inches apart on center.

    Rear axle assembly - Housing, Axles, brake backing plates, and third member. 1970 housings are different from 1969 9 inch housings. 1970 housings have a separate vent tube, 1969 vent tubes are used to hold the brake line. As removed from West Coast Cougar organ donor car. We recommend a bearing and seal inspection prior to use. For safety sake, some brake components should never be reused. Choice of 2.75:1 or 3.00:1 ring and pinion ratios, non-locking only.

    *Note - Brake drums, brake lines, and wheel cylinders, not included.

    Bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5
