Average condition with no obvious blems, but will show substantial fading. A perfect replacement for our woodgrain Burl wraps if yours is caved in or corroded and nasty looking. Check out this video
A grade pad has not shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well, it will not be curling and overall will be pliable. We rarely have more than a couple colors on hand but if you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate.
Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a better value than the Chinese rods we sell.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.

9-23-2019 Update! We are no longer carrying these as we are not happy with the amount of weight it takes to balance them. Unfortunately the founder of Specialty Wheels passed away several years ago and since then the company has changed hands a couple of times and the quality has suffered. No returns and no plans to reorder. Reproduction 14x7" styled steel wheel with a chrome outer rim and an original argent finish between the chrome spokes on the center. Reproduction 15x6" styled steel wheel for your Mercury Cougar. This unit comes with 4.5" back-space, unless ordered otherwise. Hub caps and lug nuts are sold separately. NOTE! These wheels are intended to be balanced with a lugcentric adapter. They will not balance with a traditional cone spacer on the tire spin balancer. Many tire shops do not deal with classics and do not have the right attachment. If you attempt to balance these wheels without the correct adapter they will resemble a bent...

Unfortunately the founder of Specialty Wheels passed away several years ago and since then the company has changed hands a couple of times and the quality has suffered. No returns and no plans to reorder. No, Mercury never offered wheels in a 15x7" for an early Cougar... We now sell more of these custom made SS wheels than the original 14x6" version. Not only do they look...
Used driver side (left hand) sunroof cable for the Mercury Cougar. We have a really hard time keeping these units in stock. Keep in mind this same basic cable design was used on many makes including Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and several other cars through the early 1980's. The same basic design (minor changes through the years) was used on Lincolns, Thunderbirds and other Ford products through the mid seventies. We are buyers of used sunroof cables, motors and misc parts so keep us in mind you...

Used strap or support bracket for the foam air conditioning vent tube going to the passenger side A/C vent. The electrical assembly manual indicates that two of these strap brackets were installed above inside the dash above the glove box. Our findings from the wrecking yard show that zero or one may have been installed. We have found a single bracket, no doubles, if at all. This part will seldom be in stock, but is fairly easy to fabricate. Find some 1/2 inch wide thin steel and cut a piece...
