This is a Rebuilding Service - 1969-70 standard core clocks must be received by WCCC prior to shipment. Please call 503-463-1130 if you do not have a core clock. Core clocks for this service are available.
This clock was optional on Cougars with decor and standard level interiors and was located within the instrument cluster on the driver side. It has had the original mechanical movement replaced with a new quartz movement. You should get many years of trouble free, accurate use out of this clock unlike the very undependable factory equipped movements. All of our clocks will have the cloudy lens replaced with a new one. If your Cougar did not originally come with a clock then you will need to purchase the correct wiring harness from us as well. If you would like to place this clock on the passenger side so you can implement our tachometer you will need this kit.
Quartz movement clocks have second hands that click around, original clocks had a constant sweep of the second hand.
NOTE: These clocks can be rebuilt with NOS movement for the same price, just mention it in the notes when making your order. Although Quartz movement clocks are reliable, NOS movement clocks are far more superior and smoother. Little differences like this matter if a car is being judged!
"By the way, excellent workmanship on the clock! If this is rebuilt , I can’t tell.
I’ll be ordering lots more items in the years to come so I’m sure we’ll be in contact again. Take care."
