Reconditioned lens for the Standard model Cougar optional clock. We take your old lens out of the black plastic frame and install a new lens. The reason we charge a core on these is we need the black circular frame back so as to build a lens for the next customer. To remove the clock knob pull the knob out and apply painters tape to the shaft. Now grip the shaft with a pair of needle nose vise grips. Also put a couple loops of painter tape around the knob. Grip the knob gently with a pair of pliers and unscrew the knob. Now the lens will easily be removed from the clock. This clock is not the same as XR7 cosmetically or fit-wise, this clock would be located in the gauge panel on the driver side instrument cluster. Nice quality.
