This clock has had the original mechanical movement replaced with a modern, new quartz movement. You should get many years of trouble free accurate use out of this clock. The factory equipped movements were very unreliable and often quit after a couple years use. We now put a new lens in every rebuilt 1969-70 XR7 / Eliminator clock we sell. C9ZB-15A006-B Wiring harness, or pigtail that goes from the back of the clock to the main under dash wiring harness. This wiring harness includes the 2 light sockets for the clock illumination. Ford master part number C9ZZ-15A006-A. Fits XR7 and standard Cougars. Fits 1969 Mustang.

D0ZB-15A006-A Wiring harness, or pigtail that goes from the back of the clock to the main under dash wiring harness. This wiring harness includes the 2 light sockets for the clock illumination. Ford master part number D0ZZ-15A006-B. Fits XR7 and standard Cougars. Fits 1970 Ford Mustang.

Good used knob, threads off counter clock wise from the shaft. This item will work for both Standard and XR7 models.

C9WY-15017-A Steel bracket that fastens to the rear of the passenger side dash for mounting the clock. We offer this bracket because it often comes up missing when a dash pad from a standard Cougar is transplanted to an XR7.

This dummy plate filler is used on the dummy plate and the lens attaches to the front. This filler piece will be needed when doing the tach conversion. The filler piece will come with the three mounting clips. Lens sold separately.

New clear plastic lens or face plate for the heater control on all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are constructed with the bend on the top to refract the light for illumination. *Tip for removal of your old lens. We have found it easiest to use a dremmel or other type of small cutoff wheel to carefully grind away the factory crimps. Use your safety glasses!

Good reproduction of a very sought after part. Correct thickness, comes with correct green marker needle. If your current lens is foggy it will not buff out as the problem is internal, not on the surface of the lens. We have been waiting a long time for this one! Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Not for use on the XR7 speedometer or clocks found on the XR7 or Standard models. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish.
