    This driver side (left hand) remote mirror was used only on the 1968 XR7-G Cougar and is a direct bolt on for any 1967-68 Cougar and uses the same mirror base gasket. It comes ready to install with the exception of correct adapter base that we sell separate. The casting and chrome are good quality here, the only thing we find issue with is the quality of the mirror lens and the fact that the lens is rather loose in its setting. It does hold its position well as you drive down the road.
