    Description

This is an oversized item and cannot ship through UPS or any other shipping carrier. It will have to be crated and sent through a trucking company, fees and transportation could amount to $500 or more. It's best to pick up at our location, or wait until they are available from our supplier for drop shipping, which would cost you less in shipping charges. If you decide to purchase one and would like us to ship, be aware that our online calculator cannot correctly account for shipping oversized packages, so we will be calling you for payment once we calculate actual shipping costs.

High quality reproduction driver side (right hand) full quarter panel skin for the 1970 Mercury Cougar coupe. 1969 and 1970 are not the same dimensions from the factory, the 1970 model year increased the wheel opening to allow for the optional larger tire size offered in 1970. The 1969 wheel opening measures at approximately 29-1/2" while the 1970 unit comes in at approximately 30-5/8". This panel can be used on an ELIMINATOR but would not be technically correct as the profile is slightly different on the Eliminator as the panel protrudes slightly more for the optional larger tire size offered.

These panels do not come with rear side marker hole cutouts, see photo above for measurements, left is same as right.

NOTE: We can cut off the C Pillar at no extra charge, which allows this panel to be used as a patch panel for 1970 Convertible Cougars, which also saves on shipping.

You will have to locate your own holes for the emblems and rear side marker lights.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
