New & Improved as of 2019! Woodgrain is now a near-exact match to the original.

This vinyl overlay kit for the 1967-1968 Cougar XR-7 dash is the start to a fantastic looking interior and will look better than original by some customers reviews.

This kit is a task to install, and will require your dash be disassembled, but hey, polish up those lenses and replace those burned out bulbs while you're at it. We also sell the full line of gauges individually for your failing units.

Our kit includes the 3-piece dash overlays with a continuous pattern, with matching horn bezel overlay (used for 1968 only), 4 piece door pull strap end cap overlays (1967 and 1968 versions included), and overhead console overlay, so all the woodgrain in your interior will match. Just peel and stick, after a little prep of course. Warming up the vinyl with a heat gun or hair dryer will help it conform to the dash panels. You'll also want to make a series of small relief cuts inside the gauge holes in order to fold the vinyl around to the back side.
