    We are excited to bring these new reproduction chrome backup light bezels for the 1969 and 1970 Mercury Cougar to the market. The sockets, pigtails and lenses are not included so you will need to gently remove your originals and install them in these bezels. You can find the lenses here.

    How do you remove the light socket from the old ones?

    It's a delicate process, you have to pry up edges of the socket from the inside of the housing, if you look at our listing of a used socket (sku 10856), you can see how the edge of the socket is peeled up. Then you have to curl back down again to re-install it in the new housing.
