    Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. 

    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

    "Core" Items:
     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Fixed steering column from a 1971 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Reasonably rust free column, collapsible style. Ships as shown in picture. Often we will leave the turn signal switch in place but you should count on it being non functional. Two piece collapsible shafts have tiny plastic pins these often brake due to age or handling. Lower shaft may need to be pushed up or down for proper fitment, this is a common occurrence. 1971 and 1972 appear to be the same, but we will ship one from a 1971 car.

    Upper and lower mounting brackets, are available, but sold separately.
