BOSS 302, 351w, 351c, 390 and 428 Eliminator Cougars all used the same scoop whether they were equipped with Ram Air or not. The Scoop measures 21 5/8" at the widest point on the front, 25" at the widest point at the rear and 26 1/8" tall when stood on end and measured at its longest point. Reproduction inner floor frame rail patch for the Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang coupe and convertible. As this item is for a Mustang, you will find that you will have to modify it to work with your Cougar. This unit measures 28" long where the Cougar piece is 19". This unit is a 1/4" wider than the Cougar piece as well.

Now you can replace this original part, which is commonly stripped out, with a nice reproduction. Detachable mounting plate for installing the passenger side convertible ram cylinder, to the convertible top frame assembly behind the quarter interior panel. Right and left are the different, fits all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1965-70 Ford Mustang convertibles. Ford part number C5ZZ-76531A18-A.

100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes. Once you get this from UPS it will be very evident how it goes back together.

This black wire attaches to the fusible link coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring at the other end. Correct for both XR7, Standard convertibles and power sunroof equipped Cougars.

This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.

C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.

This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

These convertible black interior "A" pillar mouldings are sold as a pair only. The texture and contour look good when installed but when turned over you will see they are thicker than original and are made from a different material than original. These may require some grinding of high spots on the back side to make them fit flush against the windshield post. Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-7603598-B and C9ZZ-7603599-B.

Good used metal strip that fastens the weatherstrip to the bottom side of the header bow. Keep in mind we have (almost) every single used part related to the 69-73 Convertible Cougar and convertible Ford Mustang / Shelby in stock at all times.
