Ford part # C9WY-16006-A.
"Hi WCCC! Just to let you know, I picked up the fender in Port Huron last Thursday and delivered it to the body shop on Friday. It looked good. I dropped by today and they said they stripped 3 coats of paint off the fender and it is EXCELLENT!
Thanks for all your help, I appreciate it. I've done T-Birds for over 25 years BUT this is my first venture with a Cougar. I'm getting anxious to have her done. You've helped to make that possible with great stuff!"
Our grade "A" fenders are truly what you would expect from an "A" rated part! We never get returns on our grade "A" fenders which is very important considering the shipping costs involved. Grade "A" fenders have no rust or excessive filler and nothing more than dings or light scrapes for damage. When you turn it over you will not see anything more than light surface rust and no distorted wheel lip areas from over sized tires. We really inspect the area where the fender extension bolts on well as many times minor damage in this area can mean major headaches when you try to line everything up. We also probe aggressively with a very sharp awl at the bottom of the fender behind the wheel as they often will rust in between the inner structure and outer skin where dirt collects. Occasionally Grade "A" fenders will still retain the original paint! Included in the price is a wooden crate as we find wrapping them in cardboard is just not a good risk. Of course if you pick up your sheet metal in person a discount will apply since no crate will have to be built. The picture shows a ding, you can expect the fender you get will have this kind of damage but no larger.
Keep in mind that when ordering multiple over-sized items from us online that the shopping cart does not know how to best combine items to save you the most money. We suggest cutting and pasting your order into an email so we can manually calculate shipping costs or just select "manually calculate shipping" when you go through checkout.
