3C511-351-71 Rear power steering pump support bracket. Also called the high pressure hose indexing bracket. For any 1971-72 Cougar or Mustang with any 351 engine. OEM used part designed to maintain the position of the high pressure power steering hose from coming in contact with with moving or high heat parts. *Note - May or may not work with non-original or replacement high pressure hoses.

This used tube with two flared fittings was originally used to connect the flexible pressure hose to the power steering pump on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with V8 engines. Ford shows this item in the chassis assembly manuals and it is called a "Pressure Line Outlet Tube Assembly" and the Ford part number is D1ZA-3E576-AC.

This used retaining clip was originally used to connect the two power steering hoses together at the power steering box. Used on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with power steering and V8 engines. Ford shows this item in the chassis assembly manuals and it is called a hose retaining clip, and the Ford part number is D1ZA-3E506-AC.

D1ZZ-3A697-A Application is for 1971-73 Cougar and Mustang with all V-8 engines including 351 and 429CJ. Originally found on pumps with tags numbered HBA-CG or HBA-CN. *Note - Until we can make a determination, this excludes pump #HBA-CF. This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

The only Cougar that we know came factory equipped with this part is the Cobra Jet. According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a C-6 would have been equipped with this reducer. Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. The C1AA-7353-C sleeve has fine threads, the C9OZ-7353-A has course threads. Fits all 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, and we suspect many other Ford vehicles beginning in 1961.
