    This filter fits all V8 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs with the Autolite Carburetor. This filter fits all 1967 - 1973 Cougars except for the following: the Boss 302 4V, 390 4V, 427 4V, 428 4V and the 429 4V. Will also fit many 6 cyl Mustang applications.

    If you look at the 2nd picture in the pic viewer we show all of the dimensions. I believe the correct hose is 5/16".

    Sorry but I don’t see the hose size for the NIPPLE inflow or it’s diameter…..I think you gave the diameter of the THREADED outlet at .79”….is the inflow 5/16” or 3/8”?….thanks!….Lou

    We added the length and nipple diameter, but neither Ford nor the manufacturer list what the thread size is for this part. It is a pipe thread, but we can't locate our thread gauge, so we cannot currently verify what size it is. It should fit almost any Autolite carburetor.
