Round ring shaped gasket that goes on top of the carburetor. Protects and seals the carburetor to the air cleaner.

Original retainer that clips onto the breather element nipple sticking through the air cleaner base and holds the elbow for the hose going to the PCV valve.  Ford calls this part the Crankcase Emissions Filter Retainer.The Master Parts Catalog says this part is only for 1971 and newer cars, but this part has been found on low mile 1970 cars as well. This is one of the hardest clips to obtain on any year of Mercury Cougar. Two required per bezel for the three bezels located on the passenger door and the two bezels in the back seat. Do not pry your bezels off or these clips will break rather release the clip with a small screw driver by inserting it in the rectangular hole on either side. NOTE!!!! This offshore switch is assembled with plated steel rivet contacts as opposed to brass rivet contacts like original. Whereas the Torino or Mustang do fine with 2 incandescent rear bulbs the Cougars with 6 bulbs put too much load on the switch and they fail. The only way these switches will hold up in a Cougar is if you convert to LED. Our turn signal switches are made on the FoMoCo original tooling. This plastic socket is very brittle and almost always breaks when installing a new door jamb switches. Does not fit cars with Warning Group with door ajar option. Simply install by carefully breaking the old brittle plastic socket apart with pliers to free up the wire leads and plug wire leads into the new socket.

Alternator adjusting bracket found on 429 engines. Not technically correct for 1970-71 429CJ engines, this is the passenger car version. The true 429CJ alternator bracket is slightly different and extremely hard to find. This is a very good and economical substitute. Has Ford part number D0SE-10145-A stamping.
