C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.

These convertible black interior "A" pillar mouldings are sold as a pair only. The texture and contour look good when installed but when turned over you will see they are thicker than original and are made from a different material than original. Reproduction gas tank to filler pipe hose fits the 67 to 70 Mercury Cougar, measures 4 1/2" long. Excludes 1970 with California emissions.
