The metal portion on the Mustang shield is identical to the 1967-68 Cougar rear shields, but the rubber is different between the Cougar and Mustang. We are in the process of trying to get the correct rubber for the Cougar. Replaces Ford Part # C7ZZ-16103-B.

This is a grade 'A' used mirror assembly with no UV damage and has had the mirror lens "re-silvered". Keep in mind a restored lens that is decades old will look good when finished but almost never flawless as the surface of the glass will usually have light scratches and often faint spotting on the backside from previous water damage / staining. Good used rear window with no deep scratches (multiple faint scratches and water spots often will be present). Not perfect but the best you could expect to find from a 50 year old plus parts car and will of course be a better fit than repro. Our service is to rebuild your sending unit. A quality core is required. This rebuilt XR7 fuel sending unit has been meticulously gone through and made operational again. All sending units are taken apart and media blasted. Once cleaned, the thermistor is carefully removed from the tube and opened up so that the mesh screen and insulator can be chemically cleaned.
