The fit of this item is good, however that's where it ends. The plastic that it is made from is too soft. It lasted about 1 mile before the square recess where the end of the speedo cable engages with the gear rounded off, leaving the gear to spin around the cable.

We have sold hundreds of these and never heard of this happening. Our guess is that there is something else going on that resulted in this happening.
