This worked perfect for my 5 speed T5 transmission. It goes the drivers side of the transmission just like the automatic and 3 speed manual. Bracket and retainer mountings were all the same as well.

Our '68 Cougar DGS was clicking from the speedometer cable at the speedometer. The indicator bounced quite a bit at speeds under 20mph and smoothed out above 45 mph. The gear looked fine at the transmission. We moved the cable some and the noise eased a bit. Bought a new cable and no more needle dancing and no more noise. I looked at several other cables but the WCCC cable appeared to be identical to the one we replaced. It certainly solved our problem! Thanks!!
