Cougar nut since buying my first car in Dec of 1981, a '68 XR-7 302/4V C-4 Lime Frost, Dark Green interior, and Hounds-tooth vinyl top. Owned too many Cougars to count... Sold my restored '67 XR-7 4-speed in 2014 but still have a '67 Standard I'm working on as a driver-quality ride. Lived in Seattle for 12 years and was a Cascade Cougar Club member and officer. Moved to the Phoenix area in 2001 and co-founded the Arizona Cougar Club. Have been side tracked by a '54 F100 for a few years but now getting back on my '67 Standard which has a '68 sunroof top, 331W stroker, T-5, and 9" with a 3.70 Traction-Lok. Have other project cars: ‘64 Fairlane Sports Coupe 289 (gathering parts) and most recently a ‘68 Mustang Cal Special with a transplanted 390GT, C6, and 9”. |
