Oil seal for rear axle on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Most Ford cars with 28 spline axles. Most all Cougar and Mustang received 28 splined axles, whether they have an 8 inch or nine inch rear end from the factory. If your power steering control valve unit is in good working condition but seems to be leaking, this seal kit may be all it takes to correct the problem.
