New replacement mounting clip as found on select alternator wiring harnesses 1968-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang and others. Black plastic clip that tapes to the alternator harness and allows harness to be attached to one of the threaded lugs on the reverse of the factory alternator. Ford part number C6AB-14A163-K.

Used dash pad clip for any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This clip attaches to the steel dash assembly. The lower portion of the padded dashes just above the glove box door and steering column is where they attach. We have seen anywhere from 2-4 or zero of these clips installed on 1969-70 Cougars. These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. For you 71-73 owners with warped panels you will want to use these original clips (at least along the bottom edge) for a tighter hold. Clip or X-washer for attaching the emergency brake lever inside the rear brake drum. Fits 8 and 9 inch rear axles. Literally used on most all Ford products from 1965-73 and likely beyond.
