Channel bracket cut from a car. This is the front bracket for mounting fuel tank straps on a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar. Mustang may be the same, just not sure. No Ford part number found. When it's time to replace your old decaying foam seal, go with our reproduction weatherstrip retainer foam roll with peel off adhesive. For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. These are bolted to the rear frame rails and were used to tie the car down to the transporter for the journey from the factory to the dealer. The dealer was supposed to remove them and return them for a credit as instructed by the dealer. Notice the sticker on the rear license plate frame (decal is available in the decal section)? Good used Western part that is not bent or heavily rusted and the left is the same as right. This is the round style and the round and the flat 1971-72 fender braces fully interchange.Ford master part # D3WY-16B134-A.

Support bracket for attaching headlight assembly to the radiator core support. Right and left are the same, two needed per car. Fits 1971-73 Mercury Cougar.Ford part number D1WY-13B065-A.

Fuel tank spacer. Welds to the bottom side of the trunk pan. Spaces the tank, so that the fuel vapor separator assembly, isn't pinched. Easy to make these stands, and there are two needed, are approximately 1-1/2 inches tall. Strap is 1-1/8 inches wide.
