This used tube with two flared fittings was originally used to connect the flexible pressure hose to the power steering pump on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with V8 engines. Ford shows this item in the chassis assembly manuals and it is called a "Pressure Line Outlet Tube Assembly" and the Ford part number is D1ZA-3E576-AC.

This used retaining clip was originally used to connect the two power steering hoses together at the power steering box. Used on all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with power steering and V8 engines. Ford shows this item in the chassis assembly manuals and it is called a hose retaining clip, and the Ford part number is D1ZA-3E506-AC.

D1ZZ-3A697-A Application is for 1971-73 Cougar and Mustang with all V-8 engines including 351 and 429CJ. This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. Used transmission line adapter and check valve for all FMX transmissions. This fitting goes into the rear part of the transmission case and connects the rear most cooling line to the case.
