Shrink-on plastic sleeve that is found on the lower part of the collapsible steering columns. Used sleeves are often ripped and torn. Set of two polyurethane bushings that insert into the rear side of the lower control arm. This set contains two bushings that measure 1 7/16 across the leading inside edge, and 1 5/8 across the outer rim. Typically these bushings fit Ford factory installed lower control arms with the welded on jacking tabs. Note: These smaller diameter bushings were used on factory installed control arms. Premium reproduction rubber seal with the proper thickness of the 1967-68 seal as found on Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang except these are not molded to the extension contours. New strip caulk for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These units come in one foot strips and are used for sealing the front fenders to top of aprons and for sealing the fuel tank flange to the trunk floor. They are also used for sealing the floor drain plugs, gas filler necks, door panel water shields, plus many other components that are fastened to the body. This box contains 60 individual strips of black non-hardening caulk.

These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. Late 1971 (4-1-1971) through mid late 1972 Mercury Cougar, approximate cutoff is 3-1-1972. Look for two different things to differentiate the trunk lids. First is the spacing on the bolts to the hinges. This style has a 4-1/4 inch spacing, early 1971 deck or trunk lids have a 3 inch spacing on those hinge bolts. This air cleaner assembly never came from the factory on any Cougar, but was an over the counter option available from your Ford dealer. If you have a very nice hood blanket I would think twice before using it in conjunction with this air cleaner assembly as it will leave an imprint. Used distributor modulator thermal switch for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Originally this switch was mounted in the drivers side door jamb and had a bimetal strip that was calibrated for ambient temperatures between 50 and 58°F.
