This air cleaner assembly never came from the factory on any Cougar, but was an over the counter option available from your Ford dealer. If you have a very nice hood blanket I would think twice before using it in conjunction with this air cleaner assembly as it will leave an imprint. Clean look with no visible mounting nut. Lid has a 1/4x20 nut attached on the bottom side (requires shortening carburetor stud). Kit includes aluminum finned top, air filter, and bottom plate.
