1971 Mercury Cougar

One of the major differences between the reproduction and the original sight glass hoses, is that the texture of the originals was much more defined.  You can see and feel the ridges in the hose on the originals.  Below is a close up picture of repro and used side by side, and it is obvious that the repro is not nearly as textured as the originals...

Reproduction A/C Tag Retainer for the 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar

This A/C vacuum canister mounts to the passenger side shock tower and controls damper doors inside the A/C unit. This unit includes a built in check valve. Used and tested vacuum tank and bracket, also known as the A/C vacuum reservoir. Fits all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar, 1971-73 Ford Mustang, as well as 1970-71 Ford Torino / Fairlane and Mercury Cyclone Montego, 1970-7? Ford Maverick and Mercury Comet.Replaces Ford part # D0DZ-19A566-A.

Reproduction diaphragm pump that mounts on the front all 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang Autolite 2V carbs as well as 1967 Autolite 4V Carbs. With today's gas, these commonly fail, especially when sitting for extended periods of time. Complete failure will cause fuel leaks, but many times these will affect performance well before a leak actually starts. Good idea to replace every few years or if sitting for 6 months or more. This is the part of the tilt switch that the turn signal wand screws into. This part is always included when you purchase a new turn signal switch. 1967-69 mechanism has two springs on either side, the 1970-73 mechanism uses just one spring.
