1971 Mercury Cougar

Air conditioning fan blower BARE clam shell assembly for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with factory A/C. Assembly comes as shown: fiberglass two piece housing, flapper door, and a couple of clips to hold it together. Grade B used will have a minor stress crack, and or small chips. The holes for attaching duct work also may have one hole blown out. See Grade A for a better condition version.

New manufactured air conditioning condenser for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Condenser only, you will need to re-use or purchase a new dryer and possibly other components. 

Used air conditioning connecting duct or manifold. This plastic manifold mounts behind the center dash vent. Ford calls it a 'duct and connecting assembly' or 'A/C junction'. High quality and correct looking air conditioning discharge hose for Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustangs. This hose is compatible with both 134a and R12 refrigerants.

Regardless of which V-8 engine, D1ZA-19972-AA or D1ZA-19972-AB part number. This hose is approximately 24 inches long. These used hoses probably still hold pressure, we suggest a purchase of new 'O' rings prior to installation.

For Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with integral or factory installed air conditioning with any V-8 engine. Original condensation drain hose from the A/C case, through the floor board, to the ground. Correct "S" shaped moulded hose with restrictor intact. Almost the same hose as was used 1969-70, Dearborn assembly line hoses have a ribbed section 1971-73. One of the major differences between the reproduction and the original sight glass hoses, is that the texture of the originals was much more defined.  You can see and feel the ridges in the hose on the originals.  Below is a close up picture of repro and used side by side, and it is obvious that the repro is not nearly as textured as the originals...
