Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on. Has the original cast brass valve and vacuum pod. Used but functional, the reproduction version is very good, but has a black plastic valve, like the service replacement valves from Ford.Replaces Ford part number C9AA-18495-D.

C9ZE-6583 Cast aluminum valve cover. Correct on 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 428CJ engines. This is the plain finned aluminum valve cover. Ford master part number C9ZZ-6582-B. Casting number can also be C9ZE-6583-B. Sometimes called 1969 Shelby valve covers. *Note - Some 1969-70 428 Super Cobra Jet engines came with a different style of  "Snake" finned aluminum valve covers.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles.
