Scott Drake used the original Ford prints to makes these exactly as the originals with heavier gauge steel than the other reproductions we have seen. Unlike the reproductions of the past, these actually fit without the need for modification or the need to jump on the front of the car to install. They are the best braces on the market today by far... Greatly reduces twisting of the chassis. Also strengthens the front end and helps reduce shock tower fatigue and cracking. Original NOS shroud with correct chocolate brown color and texture as what came on your Cougar the day it was made. The later shrouds sold by Ford were smooth, black and the "Barnum Fibre Co. Inc." maker lettering was faint. This is a wonderful piece for that concours quality 1969 BOSS 302 Eliminator or GT350 Shelby. Ford Part number C9OZ-8146-A
Great addition to that show quality FE powered early Cougar. Unlike the reproduction this has the original part number, BARNUM BROS. FIBRE CO. INC. lettering and FoMoCo insignia at the top driver side. This was one of the last units out the door when FORD discontinued them in the 1990's. Weighs 2.70 pounds and the reproduction weighs 1.54 pounds. Ford part number C8ZZ-8146-A
This shroud was discontinued by Ford in the mid 1990's. It really is no different in appearance from our reproduction but it does weigh a hefty 2.56 pounds and the reproduction weighs 1.76 pounds. Must have FoMoCo / part numbered shroud for that show quality BOSS 302 or 351C Eliminator. Just like our reproduction, the BARNUM BROS. lettering has been ground off. This was done because Barnum no longer made the shrouds for Ford in the latter years but the tooling still had their name on it.Ford...
