Used alternator adjusting bracket for early 1967 Mercury Cougar or 1965-67 Ford Mustang with 289 V-8 engines. Very early style which is a carryover from the 1965-66 289 alternator bracket. The difference of this C5AE-10145-A alternator bracket and the C7OE-10145-A bracket is the C7OE bracket has a slightly rounded off end to prevent contact with some of the larger diameter water pump pulleys. This high performance alignment kit replaces the factory eccentric bolt and cam that holds the lower control arm to the frame. The eccentric cam is used for setting wheel camber. Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. The C1AA-7353-C sleeve has fine threads, the C9OZ-7353-A has course threads. Fits all 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, and we suspect many other Ford vehicles beginning in 1961.
