Reproduction Console Ashtray Bumper for the 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.
New chrome finish screws for attaching OEM consoles. Screws fit all stock consoles 1967-73 on Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, most any Ford consoles actually. Phillips head oval. 1967-68 consoles use 4 attaching screws, 1969-70 consoles need 6 along the outside, 1971-73 consoles have a total of 8 screws along the outside. These are 1-1/2 inches long like the originals.
Reproduction aluminum shift indicator console overlay for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Although a brushed finish is correct, this reproduction has a coarser brush stroke when compared to the originals and is a bit dull. We recommend a quick polish to make them look closer to the finish of the originals. These fit well, and unless you put them up against an original, it is hard to tell the finish is slightly different. This installs around your console indicator light lenses. The easiest...
A needed part for giving your car a tune-up.
This listing is for a 3 bolt type upper ball joint, NOS, original Ford Service replacement upper control arm assembly. We have a very hard time keeping these in stock but we keep the listing up as it is good for comparison sake when considering the differences between reproduction and OEM. Keep in mind, service replacement parts often differ slightly from what actually came on the car. Over the years tooling is often replaced or modified and suppliers of things like fasteners often change....
New midland control hub assembly and disassembly tool for use with the 67 - 69 Cougar and Mustang Midland style booster
This unit was used only one year on the Cougar and is unique because of its smaller fitting (1/4") for the pressure hose. Many 1967 Cougars have been converted to the 1968 valve over the years so you may want to double check your valve before ordering. We highly recommend upgrading to the large nut (5/16") control valve as the small nut control valve posses a potential safety issue, thus the reason why Ford replaced it the following year. The small nut system was engineered dangerously close...
Reproduction tack strip for the rear bow of the convertible top on the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang convertible. When replacing your convertible top, it's also a good idea to replace the tack strips in the front and rear bows of the convertible top frame. This strip slips into the rear bow of the convertible top's frame and allows the fabric of the top to be attached to the frame. You will need approximately 5 Feet (60 inches) of material and will have to trim to fit your top. You can also...
