1968 Mercury Cougar

This is a good used fitting with large and small nipples for use with the foot actuated washer pumps found on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Good used part that we verify the check valve is working. These screw into of the rubber covered pumps.

For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

We shatter the castings from used back-up light assemblies to remove the socket and pigtail complete. This is for the person who has a nice original back up light and is willing to invest the time to repair a damaged pigtail. This light was also used on the 1965-1966 Ford Mustang.

Used wiring cover for the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Unique to the 1968 and 1969 tilt column, fixed column version will not fit on a tilt without modification. Ford part number C8ZZ-13376-A or C8ZZ-13376-B.

Wiring harness for the low fuel sending units on 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 and standard models with low fuel warning light. The Safety Convenience Option included a low fuel warning light. This harness has two wires which attach to the three prongs on the 1968 C8ZF-9275-B low fuel sending units.1967 and 1968 will interchange, 1967 has a plastic shielding on the end of the wire loom that is under the car. 1968 version does not have this shielding. Used grade A standard 14405 harness is inspected, professionally repaired, tested, and ready to install. This harness connects to the main 14401 under dash harness at the passenger side door jamb, and runs through to the trunk. It connects to the sequential unit and the fuel sending unit.
