C-4 transmission 90 degree brass fitting for the rear oil cooler line. New reproduction with jamb nut and "O"-ring. Fits 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and 1965-73 Ford Mustang where applicable.

Application; 390, 427, 351CJ, 428CJ, and 429CJ all with C6 transmission. 428CJ and 429CJ 4 speed transmissions. 1970 351C-4v with FMX.U-joint size 1330, overall length 8-3/4 inches.

After waiting several months, these reproduction 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar Deck Lock (Trunk Lock) covers are now finished! The reproduction chrome cover shown here sports a very rare original Ford, NOS XR7 decal. The NOS decal is different from our reproduction in three subtle areas. First the number "7" is a darker, richer color, second the decal fills the recessed area better and third the detail in the black area is a little different than our reproductions. There are several differences between this NOS decal and the good quality reproduction we offer. First off the red "7" is darker, second the "XR" is more brilliant, third is when you run your finger nail over the tiny raised ridges the reproduction makes a audible zip sound and the NOS does not, fourth is there is no adhesive backing on the NOS decal and there is on the reproduction, fifth is the reproduction is made of a much heavier aluminum stock than the NOS and lastly the NOS fits in the...

The later run XR7-G emblems we offer are really quite nice, but they are all just a tad smaller than originals. This is almost impossible to detect unless you have a reference point. The lock cover does in fact provide a reference point in that if you use a new emblem you will have a noticeable gap around the perimeter of the emblem.
