Just about the only possible reason to put this poor quality reproduction on your Cougar is that it is a good tool to put out engine fires. No Joke! If you happen to have an engine fire you can carefully open your hood, yank the blanket downward and smother the fire by pushing the blanket tight around the area that is burning. This can at least buy you time until a fire extinguisher is located. How do I know? I saved a very pristine 1974 XR7 a few years ago this way! This inexpensive product...

These original hood blanket clips grip much better than the reproductions. Usually there were 10-11 of these clips used but it can vary from car to car as they tended to be inconsistent at the factory on how many of the available holes they actually stuck a clip into. Sold Individually.

If you find that this tube has too small of fittings for your OEM 4150 / 4160 Holley carburetor than what has happened is that someone has replaced your transfer tube and fittings with one of the after-market kits available at speed shops. This is the ONLY correct transfer tube for a Cougar equipped with a Holley from 1967 - 1970. Replaces Ford part # C9AZ-9H576-A.

This clip attaches by the driver's side front of the fuel tank opening, and holds the fuel line in place near the sending unit. Used on late 1967 to 1968 cars with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line and different routing (through the transmission tunnel) and did not use this part. The reproduction clip for this application has a different appearance, so we wanted to make these used originals available.
