After watching the video twice I used the Steel Riv-Nut installation tool and it worked exactly as it did in the video. I was very pleased with the ease of the tool.

Did the job but hard to fit all wenches to nuts without binding....but worked ok

Unless you buy a Rivnut gun, this will do the job just fine, watch WCC video to see how.



I find the steel Rivnuts are better than the Aluminium ones which can distort or buckle when using this tool.

Incredibly easy to use and simple in design. If you are going to mount O/S read view mirror, you must use RIVNUTS.

Before, it took an expensive tool to install (expensive for only using it to install two mounting points), now you can do them for $3 !

The tool striped out after only one use. Not really impressed with the product. Have used similar tools as an aircraft mechanic. This one didn't cut the mustard.

After watching the video here I knew this was the only way to go. Worked great and the mirror is mounted solid as can be. You have to crank pretty hard on the little wrench to collapse it, at first I thought it wasn't gonna work. Also, I used a flat wrench as the stationary wrench because a normal wrench made it difficult to get a good grip on the nut.

I was tempted to take a star away because the nut you crank on was a bit undersize but it worked none the less.

This inexpensive set made quick business of stalling the riv-nuts for my passenger side mirror. I figured out how to set it up quickly enough, but brief instructions would have made it even quicker.

Easy enough to use. better than buying a tool that i will never ever use again Watch the video. Its funny. Put a shirt on.
