This is used on cars equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when the A/C is on. Not an exact replacement, but it will work just fine.These valves are normally set open.Replaces Ford part #: D4AZ-18495-A.

Looks just like the Ford part

And it works just like the Ford part. Very nice! The Ford part lasted 30+ years. It would be nice to get another 30 out of the replacement as replacing hoses is so much fun.
