Worked like a champ.. Cannot confirm the vacuum portion as I have my headlight doors electrically operated..
With the exception of having to break the spacer off the original switch and using JB Weld to install it, the part works fine.

Again, WCC comes through with an easy fix product. I am in no way a mechanic, but when I see something as easy as this to install and someone wants $60 to install it, I'll take a chance. This was easy to install and saved quite a bit of money doing it myself. Took about 20 minutes for a no knowledge guy like me to install it. I saved as much as the part cost by doing it myself. Videos on how to do this are easy to find on the web.
Easy to install. Only took a few minutes to transfer the cup from my old switch to this one one. Used the quick curing JB Weld. I guess my old rheostat wasn't in bad shape as this didn't brighten my instrument lights too much, but now I'm free of vacuum leaks in the headlight door system.
This was my first order from WCCC. Switch was exactly as described and arrived earlier than expected. Had to add spacer from old switch to the new one, as described in the description of the part. Directions were easy to follow and very happy with the turn out.
This is a good replacement for the OEM switch. I installed it and have not had any problems. Worth the money.
