At first I thought these opera light lens were pretty expensive for almost $100 for the pair, but I needed to replace my original ones and decided to just get them. Well I gotta say these are 100% worth it. Just holding them, you can see and feel the quality of these lenses. I thought they were going to be some cheap plastic replacement but holding them in your hand, you can feel the weight that they're made of metal and the new shine of chrome looks great. And they're are so easy to install. The old ones pop off and these just pop right in. I should have bought these sooner.
I purchased the housing units from WCCC, sandblasted and painted them back as they originally were, and installed them with no problems. The only thing missing were the black O-ring gaskets, but I used new gaskets from a siphon spray gun; the gaskets were the same diameter and thickness and worked perfectly. The lenses I purchased separately a few weeks later. They are absolutely gorgeous, installed with ease, and fit perfectly. I am definitely pleased with WCCC; the staff is professional and courteous, and the videos are incredibly informative and helpful. Thanks guys...and let's keep those Cougars purring!
Nice add. Two comments if you are adding this option to your cougar: 1) Watch the video! Very helpful 2) The electrical connectors are not shown in the video. The factory connectors for the lights are already in your car. These are two pin flat plugs with a male and female side. They will be dangling close to the light fixture location or perhaps taped to the harness nearby. The light fixture single male pin plugs into the female side of the two pin flat plug.
Better than original and a must have for a proper interior restore.

Great fit and finish. Awsome repo’s. Installed in a 1968 cougar that didn’t previously have rear opera lights and couldn’t be happier.
Simple "pop out / in" replacement. They're so nice, that now I HAVE to replace my headliner!
I replaced my old tired lens with these and WOW
