Not difficult to install. Easy to find a spot to hide the relays so they're not obvious at car shows. No need to cut or splice wires, so that makes it easy to install (or to later uninstall should a future owner prefer authenticity over practicality). However, one of the relays in my kit was bad so I had to send it back for replacement. Once I got the replacement, however, I'm very pleased with the much brighter and whiter halogen bulbs.
A great update for a classic Cougar. Straight forward installation and really is plug and play. This completes the lighting update for my 68. I couldn’t be happier.
I installed this on my 1969 XR 7 that is a low mileage original paint driver. I need to do something to upgrade the wiring and lighting for safety purposes if I was to drive this at night and use it as planned for regular trips and short vacations. The unit installed easliy and works great with as set of halogen bright white glass headlight bulbs.
